AUTUMN MEETINGS: BUILDING FUTURES \ PENAFIEL MUNICIPAL MUSEUM
Participation in the Autumn Meetings 2025 between November 28th and 29th, 2025, at the Penafiel Municipal Museum. This year, the Autumn Meetings were entirely dedicated to celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of ICOM Portugal and constituted a moment of collective reflection on the journey undertaken, the challenges faced, and the perspectives for the future. Topics addressed included the role of museum professional associations, the transformations of the museum sector in Portugal, the ethical and social challenges of contemporary times, and the role of museums in building more just and participatory societies, according to the following:
