Participation in the "National Meeting 2026 | From Analog to Digital: Challenges of Transition and Photochemical Resilience in Cinema", organized by EPPIC, a research project dedicated to the study and preservation of industrial and scientific heritage, which Archeofactu has been associated with from the beginning. The meeting took place on October 29th at NOVA FCT - Faculty of Sciences and Technology of NOVA University of Lisbon and included the collaboration of the Portuguese Cinematheque - Museum of Cinema. This meeting, which aims to promote reflection and dialogue around the challenges of preservation and transition between analog and digital universes, also brought together contributions from other areas related to image, technology, materials, and preservation.
