2007 Conservation and Restoration

With the renovation of the laboratorio chimico of the new National Museum of Natural History and Science, in Lisbon, recovered in its original 19^thc. design, a conservation program was done in a significant set (c.100) of scientific devices of metal*, wood and ceramics, namely:

Alembic, iron alloy, copper alloy and ink.
Carré apparatus, iron alloy and wood.
Colorimeter, iron alloy, copper alloy and glass.
Reaction vessel, iron alloy, copper alloy and glass.
Polarimeter, Fe, Cu, wood, glass, wires, paint, varnish.
Presses, wood, iron, copper, textiles, paint, varnish.
Hand pumps, iron alloy, copper and wood alloy.
Gasometers, iron alloy, copper alloy and glass.
Bunsen burners.

Air pumps.
Ovens and grills, Fe, Cu, stoneware and paint.
Vacuum and pneumatic machines.
Greenhouses, iron alloy, glass, ceramics, paint.
Scales, Fe, Cu, glass, stone, varnish.
Basins, ceramic.
Test tube holders, iron alloy, copper alloy.
Projection lanterns, iron, copper and wood.
Prisms, Fe, Cu, wood, glass, paint and varnish.
